I had an amazing stay at this awesome backpackers in Byron Bay. The location was perfect, right in the center and just a short walk to the shops, bars, restaurants, and the beach. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast selection could have been better.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as some uncleanliness in the rooms and thin walls, these were outweighed by the positive aspects of my stay.

Enjoyed my stay here, the room was clean and comfortable. The shared shower was spacious and provided all the necessary amenities. The bar and outdoor area were a great place to socialize. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely return in the future. I highly recommend this hostel.

The location of this hostel is fantastic, with the beach only a two-minute walk away. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants in the area, making it convenient for guests to explore. The communal areas are clean and offer nice seating areas to relax and soak up the sun. Additionally, the staff are helpful and accommodating, always willing to assist with any queries or needs.

Some rooms may have maintenance issues, such as broken fans or lockers without doors.

The location of the hostel was fantastic, right in the heart of the town and close to everything. It was well priced and had friendly and efficient reception staff. the rooms were clean and great value for money, with spacious and comfortable beds. the showers were also lovely and had en suite bathrooms. the atmosphere was lively and there were USB chargers by the beds.

The cleanliness of the common areas and lockers left much to be desired.

Great location just a block away from the beach and close to the main street. Large dormitory rooms with en suite toilets/showers and balconies or courtyards. The central location makes it easy to access the beach, shops, and restaurants. The bar area is nice with a ping pong table, swimming pool, and indoor/outdoor seating areas. The rooms are spacious with plenty of space around the beds, individual fans, and plug sockets.

The internet only worked in the bar area, making it inconvenient to access from other parts of the hotel. Some noise disturbances may occur in the dormitory rooms due to the party atmosphere and young backpacker crowd.

As a solo traveler, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Aquarius. With free dinner and a welcome drink, plus nightly activities like karaoke and pub quizzes, it was easy to meet people and have fun. The communal spaces, including the bar and outdoor seating, were inviting and brought everyone together. The 10-bed dorm, split over two levels, was surprisingly comfortable. Would definitely recommend for solo travelers!

This hostel was such a great find! The rooms were comfy, spacious, and really clean. We even had a balcony in our dorm room which was awesome. The location was perfect, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the money!

The only thing that could be improved was the breakfast option.

We stayed at a backpackers resort for 4 nights and had a mixed experience. the Frangipani room we stayed in was clean and hygienic, and the staff were all very lovely. They had great activities to mingle, like free dinners and karaoke. the location was perfect, within walking distance to the beach and the main part of town. The spacious rooms and the option of free dinners made it budget-friendly for backpackers. Cons: Nothing, all excellent! .

The rooms at Aquarius Backpackers Resort were clean and spacious, providing plenty of room for all our belongings. the en-suite bathroom was a pleasant surprise, as it was large and functional. the small balcony outside the room was a nice touch and offered a relaxing spot to sit and enjoy the outdoors. the location was also a major plus, being very central and within walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. the communal bar area, although closed, allowed guests to bring their own drinks and socialize with other travelers, creating a friendly atmosphere.

The noise level in our room. Being next to the shared toilet, we were constantly disturbed by the sound of flushing and doors slamming.
